This project includes a 5000 sq.ft. club house and a separate 1500 sq.ft. pro shop building located on 300 acres of agricultural land southwest of Woodstock, Ontario. Given the rural nature of this project, Gus Ricci looked to the low slung, one storey train stations that once existed in southern Ontario. An example of this historical building type exists in the community.
Gus Ricci Architect provided full design and documentation services for this project. Since the golf course was built and was operational prior to construction of the buildings, many site visits were required to determine building siting and orientation. During the design process, our client recognized our commitment to design and execution of the design intent resulting in providing full architectural services including permit drawings, coordination of consulting interiors, detailed drawings of exteriors, selection of materials and colours, interior detailing and fixture selections. Scheduled site review during construction further supported the client’s expectations.
